Here's the deal though – we've got some extremely basic business industry standards and ethical principles for our competitors to meet, to ensure that you're getting top-notch service every time.

Competitor Requirements:

Annual $1MM General + Liquor Liability Insurance Policy

Ensuring your safety is paramount to us. That's why we require competitors to maintain a minimum annual $1MM General + Liquor Liability Insurance Policy, per occurrence, with a $2MM aggregate. All of this to to safeguard both you and your guests, as well as your venue against unforeseen circumstances during your event. This insurance coverage is also a requirement for most venues.

Workers Compensation Insurance

We prioritize the well-being of our staff, and we expect our competitors to do the same. By mandating Workers Compensation Insurance, we ensure that employees are protected in the event of any workplace injuries, ensuring a safer environment for all involved. This coverage also helps ensure that staff are W2 employees and are covered under the GL + LL policies.

All Employees are ServSafe or TIPS Certified

Responsible alcohol service is fundamental in the industry. We guarantee that all our staff are trained and certified in ServSafe or TIPS, and we hold our competitors to the same high standards. This certification ensures that alcohol is served responsibly, promoting a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for your event.

Possess a Valid + Active Vendors License

Operating ethically and legally is non-negotiable for us. We expect our competitors to uphold the same standard by maintaining a valid vendors license to charge, collect, and remit sales tax to the proper taxation authorities. This requirement assures you that you're working with reputable professionals who adhere to legal regulatory standards and requirements, especially when it comes to taxation laws.

Clean Bar Equipment According to Food Service Regulations

Hygiene is non-negotiable! Competitors must adhere to food service regulations when cleaning their bar equipment and tools. This means that all equipment should be cleaned in a three compartment sink - properly washing, rinsing, and sanitizing equipment. "Competitors" cleaning their bar tools and equipment in the kitchen or basement of their house don't count!

Staff Members Must Be W2 Employees and the Company is Paying Payroll Taxes

We stand by fair employment practices. Our expectation is that competitors properly classify their employees as W2 workers and fulfill their obligations by paying payroll taxes at the local, state, and federal level. This ensures that employees are fairly compensated and protected, aligning with our values of integrity and fairness in the workplace. Also, by classifying staff members as W2 employees instead of 1099 independent contractors, this guarantees that their staff members are covered under the company's general + liquor liability insurance policies.
